NEW RATES EFFECTIVE WITH THE FEBRUARY 2024 METER READINGS (DUE BY MARCH 15, 2024)

Water Rates: (3/4” service)
Minimum bill (0-1200 gallons) $37.83 + TAX = $41.42
All over 1200 gallons $10.50/1000 gallons + TAX

10% Late charge after 15th due date

Set Tap $1200.00
Reactivate old meter $200.00
Access & Connection Fee (residential) $85.00
Access & Connection Fee (renter) $150.00
Access & Connection Fee (commercial) $125.00
Transfer Fee (from one location to another on system) $40.00
Reconnect fee (during business hours) $50.00
After hours Reconnect fee (after hours, before 8PM) $65.00
Late Night Reconnect fee (after 8PM and weekends) $85.00
Returned Check Fee $30.00 (no check for 12 months after a returned check)
Extension Fee (not able to pay by cut-off, so extend time to pay bill) $10.00/extension



This rate was necessary because our main supplier, Limestone County Water Authority has raised our rate substantially

The State of Tennessee requires us to stay in the black (net income). If we do not, they will come in and set our rates for us. The overhead cost of operating this water system has increased due to the rising cost of everything we use, so we need to pass this along to keep from going into the RED (net loss).
